DIY Valentine Tic Tac Toe Board

Happy February! Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and this DIY Tic Tac Toe Board is the perfect gift. I love homemade presents for kids that you can actually play with… and this tic tac toe game doesn’t disappoint. What a classic!

Read more for the full tutorial.Supplies: 12×12 plywood board, 3 inch wood circles, acrylic paint, washi tape, paintbrushes, printed out x’s and o’s, pen or pencil

For the wood board, I had a large sheet of plywood cut into 12 inch squares at my local lumberyard.

Steps:

1. Print out and trace the x’s and o’s (download x and o here) on wooden circles. I used a ballpoint pen to trace over letter. This left an indent in the wood that I used as my guide to paint.

2. Paint the x’s and o’s. Let dry and they are ready!

3. Put washi tape stripes in a grid on your board.

4. You’re ready to play!
