Baked Lemon Donuts
These baked lemon donuts are light, fluffy and such a treat. They are full of fresh lemon flavor and so easy to whip up for a special breakfast or brunch.

What kind of pan to use for baked donuts
You will want to use a non-stick pan with donut shaped indentations. We absolutely love this donut pan. It is made by Wilton and just fabulous.

Sour cream is the secret ingredient for making baked donuts moist and delicious. We also use almond milk and coconut oil in this baked lemon donut recipe as well.

Baked Lemon Donuts Ingredients
1 cup flour
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 t baking powder
1/4 t salt
2 T lemon zest
2 eggs
1/2 cup almond milk
1/3 cup sour cream
2 t vanilla
3 t lemon juice
3 T coconut oil
Lemon Glaze Ingredients
1 cup powdered sugar
4 T lemon juice
How to make Baked Lemon Donuts
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine all dry ingredients, along with lemon zest in a mixing bowl. Then beat eggs in a medium size bowl.
Add remaining ingredients and whisk until well mixed. Slowly add dry ingredients to wet until smooth.
Spoon batter into greased donut pan. Fill each two thirds full. Bake for 8-9 minutes.
Let cool then dip donuts in glaze.
