Celebrating milestone birthdays
Our dad turns 70 this August, so we’ve been working on ideas to celebrate his big day. Birthdays are a real celebration in our family, and we like to commemorate our parents’ milestone birthdays by creating something meaningful. For our dad’s 65th we asked our immediate family members, our Pop Pop (grandfather) and our dad’s siblings to write down some of the things they thank our dad for– thank you 65 ways. It was a hit and our dad hangs these framed thank yous in his office at the lake. This is a project you can do in a graphic design program, or a word processing one. Keep it simple since there is so much text. Print them out, put in some frames and voila, you’ve got a memorable gift. Stay tuned for what we create for his 70th!
