Supplies: t shirts (mine are from babyGap) // appliqué paper // iron // alphabet template
Step 1: Make a template for initial. I made mine in Word using Arial Black size 325. Trace the outside of letter under the protective paper of appliqué paper.
Step 2: Peel the back side of appliqué paper away and iron onto the back of printed cotton fabric.
Step 3: Cut the letter out using good scissors. You do not want to have fraying on the fabric edges.
Step 4: Iron on the front of t-shirt following the instructions on the appliqué paper packaging.
You can stitch around the edges of the letter using your sewing machine.
These sweet shirts were gifts for my best friend’s almost one year old boys! How cute are they!?

I didn’t know you could just iron on patches. I need to get a set of shirts for my son’s baseball team. I’ll have to order them online.
