DIY Confetti Pumpkins
post by Sara
For some reason this Halloween I am obsessed with the small white pumpkins. Since Harper’s birthday is in October I thought it would be fun and playful to do something with confetti and pumpkins. So, let me introduce the Confetti Pumpkin! All you need it a hole punch, colorful paper and mod podge.

Supplies: white pumpkins // colored paper // hole punch // Mod Podge // paint brush
Step 1: Punch out holes fem colored paper. I used bright neon paper from a copy store. I only used a 1/8 strip of the paper.
Step 2: Paint a layer of mod podge on the top 1/3 of pumpkin.
Step 3: Sprinkle the “confetti” onto the pumpkin. You can press lightly onto the pumpkin. Let the mod podge dry for 15 – 20 minutes.
Step 4: Brush an addition layer of mod podge on top of the confetti, this will seal the confetti onto the pumpkin. Let dry for 30 – 45 minutes.
Happy Halloween!
I LOVE THESE!!!
Thanks Jill! They are so cute and so easy! Fun for the kids to make too.
These are so pretty!!!
Thank you! SO easy and cute!
I would try baking sprinkles. Seems like they would be less work than Hole punching paper.
good idea Lori. Thanks for sharing! I chose to punch the paper because I wanted to use those colors. I would think confetti would be great too!
I love these! Pumpkins + confetti are two of my favorites 🙂 Might have to try something like this out next year!!
