Back to school is in full swing. We have stocked up on all the school supplies for school, but we are still working on getting things organized at home. We want the kids’ desk spaces all ready to go with everything they need to get homework done. Earlier this week we shared a DIY Colorblock Cork Board project. And today, we are showing you another cork project, our DIY Cork Desk Caddy.
Did you know you can make this DIY Cork Desk Caddy with only cork sheets, hot glue gun and an x-acto knife. You can find the quick tutorial on Oriental Trading’s site, FUN365. The possibilities are endless really with how to “glue together” a cork desk caddy. We made ours with a larger storage space on the side and then two separate areas on the left side for pens and pencils. And of course we had to add some pops of color with the little pom pom garland.
We also made this darling Ombre Cork Circle Wall Display that would look so cute above a kid’s desk area in the room or shared family area.
