Supplies
Steps
- Using the metal hole punch, make 3 holes on the bottom of brass circle. We use brass circles that have one hole pre punched. The 3 holes should be about 1/8 inch apart.
- Next, open the jump ring with jewelry pliers. Slip the jump ring into the top loop of tassel.
- Slip the jump ring into the punched hole and close the jump ring with pliers. Add all three tassels.
- Place a jump ring to the top of brass circle. Slide the 18 inch chain through the top jump ring. You can buy and 18 inch chain with fastener or add your own fastener.

Oh I love this, friends! It’s really really pretty and makes me want to bust out my jewelry making supplies for the first time in ages. XOXO
Thanks so much, Cyd! Once Melissa made the earrings we were getting a bit obsessed with the jewelry making! xoxo
This is a beautiful necklace! The problem is that the hole puncher you suggest doesn’t work on those blanks you suggested. Technically it should have but it doesn’t. Did you actually use these materials to make it? It looks like the hole puncher you used is another one…
We used both types of metal hole punches – for the earrings and necklaces. This one – an actual punch https://rstyle.me/n/dbyh9x6yiw and this one – hole maker https://rstyle.me/n/dbyibe6yiw
