DIY Heart Canvas – Baby Love Series
I knew I wanted to add a personal touch to Poppy’s nursery. I wanted it to be bright and cheery and full of love. This is a simple project that even the un-artist like myself can pull off successfully. You need a canvas, some paint, 20 minutes, and you’ve got a hand-painted heart canvas. We love this simple DIY as part of our Baby Love Series.

Supplies:
Gold acrylic paint
paint brushes (I used a fine brush to paint the exterior of the heart and a wide foam brush to paint the interior of it)
tray for paint
newspaper and pencil
How to make DIY Heart Canvas
1. Cut out a heart from a newspaper page or freehand your heart with a light pencil on the canvas.
2. Paint in heart with one coat, let dry, and paint a second coat.
After the paint is dry, hang your new hand-painted custom heart canvas. This will brighten any nursery wall!
