DIY Repurposed Tile Magnets
A few weeks back I spent an afternoon with my lovely friend Sarah. We got coffee and new succulents at the beautiful Flora Grubb Gardens. Then we headed to neighboring Building Resources.
If you live in the Bay Area, this is the place for finding treasures of reclaimed goodies. I scored some repurposed wood for photo surfaces and some other goods for styling.
Building Resources has tumbled glass and ceramics in barrels to dig through. They sell it by the pound. I scored some gorgeous tumbled ceramic tile pieces.
Digging through the barrel I knew they would make perfect magnets. It is so satisfying making something useful out of an old discarded item.

How to make DIY Repurposed Tile Magnets
1. Wipe any dust off back of tiles. Add glue to back of tile where you want the agent to be placed. This is a fun project to do with your kids. Harper helped choose the tile pieces. I helped with the glue part as it is not kid’s glue.
2. Place magnet on back of tile. Let dry for a few hours.
