We both love houseplants. Fiddle leaf figs, snake plants, ficus audrey, maidenhair ferns – you name it! It is wise to protect your wood floors if places pots directly on the flooring. So, we created this plant stand to do just that.

How to protect floors from plant pots
First, use a plant stand! This DIY project is perfect to protect your floors. Whether you have hardwood floors, rugs or carpet – this is perfect. Having the planter pot on the DIY Plant Stand will allow the plant to have good air circulation. This will ensure that you will have less condensation on the floor.
You can also use plastic saucers. The waterproof tray or plastic saucer will hold any water that gathers when watering.
Another thing to do is be careful when watering! Yes, do not overwater. This might sound like a no-brainer but so ofter water will spill and stain the floor if not noticed.
