DIY Wrapping Ideas
We were so excited to get a sneak peak at the Darby Smart + Gap gift DIY gift wrapping set that is available in 350 Gap stores tomorrow, December 17. The kit is a gift with a $50 purchase in select US stores. The kit is just lovely – such sweet treats to add some personality and originality to your gifts! There is gorgeous silver glitter tape, wood tags, silver pen, red and white bakers twine and gift tags. I love the kraft paper – it is a terrific blank canvas. I had so much fun wrapping gifts with all the goodies. Head to Gap tomorrow to get yourself a gift wrapping set. Or you can head over to Darby Smart to order one.
See how I personalized my gifts with fabric, glitter tape and yarn.
1. Add some glitter tape to small clothes pins. I trimmed the tape to fit the top of the clothes pin.
2. Use alphabet stamps to add a message or name to the wood gift tags.
3. I love using scrap fabric for DIYs. I cut some scrap fabric to add texture and pattern to plain scrap fabric. Use simple yarn to wrap multiple times around the packaging for additional texture and detail.
