One of our mom’s favorite picture books is Miss Rumphius by Barbara Cooney and it’s become of our girls’ favorites. A great and simple piece of advice from the book: “You must do something to make the world more beautiful.”

I’m still riding a high after teaching my first Indigo + Shibori Workshop here in Crested Butte. It was a fundraiser for our local children’s museum, and such an inspiring event.
