Halloween is right around the corner! Can you believe it?!

We have been hearing so many unique and creative ideas for Halloween this year!  For instance, setting up tables for candy to be “picked” up from or even clipping candy from hedges with clothespins for kids to grab.

We are so delighted to share a fun and festive Halloween idea with our friends at HERSHEY® and Walmart. You know that we love a good charcuterie style board, right? Some even call it a “grazing board”. Well today we are showing you how we put together a Halloween Candy Grazing Board for the family.

You can get everything needed to start the season with a quick trip to Walmart.

What you need to make a Halloween Candy Grazing Board

Candy, candy and more candy! Our family loves all things chocolate, so the HERSHEY halloween candy makes the perfect treat. We got all of these goodies from the Halloween section at Walmart.

  • HERSHEY® All Time Great Minis Assortment (KIT KAT, Milk Duds, Hershey bars, Almond Joy and REESE’S Peanut Butter Cups)
  • REESE’S Peanut Butter Pumpkins (my fave)
  • New REESE’S Frankencup – these are so cute! New green creme the color of Frankenstein!
  • New KIT KAT® Witch’s Brew – light green KIT KATS!
  • New HERSHEY’S Vampire Kisses -the  purple and red wrappers are so cool!

Grab your favorite wood cutting board like this one from Walmart to display the candy.

How to build a Halloween Candy Grazing Board

The key for building any kind of grazing board is “grouping”. This means putting small clusters or groups of the same candy in a section of the board. I started with the top left corner and continued to add more groups around the board. Add a bit of dimension by using small white bowls filled with candy. You can unwrap some the candy or keep everything wrapped as well. Look at the colors as well. Spread out the candy that is wrapped in orange for example.

Add a few Halloween props to the board as well – like a mini pumpkin, bat or skull. I also used a faux spider on the board that looks so creepy! The kids (the entire family) will love your candy display! This is such a fun way to showcase the treats.
