DIY Wood Storage Crate

We can never have enough storage options in our house. Never. We love to take an everyday household item and turn it into something that is practical and stylish. Today we are sharing how we used a wood crate, added some paint and leather scraps and turned it into a good looking storage crate. Learn how with our DIY Wood Storage Crate!  This project is part of the Oriental Trading Supply of the Month challenge – the DIY Unfinished Wood Slat Crate was our supply of the month! We love the look of Scandinavian white washing. We watered down some white acrylic paint and added this to the crate. Ten took leather scraps and glued to the sides of crate to make handles. We just adore how these turned out. I am using them in my studio for craft supply storage. Although I am thinking of making more for my pantry. Head over to the Oriental Trading blog for all the details!
