We spent a majority of our childhood in Indianapolis. Memorial Day weekend always meant Race Weekend. Our mom put the black and white checkered race flags in the front of the house. We were even lucky enough to go the Indy 500 some years. Every year I still get a bit emotional with the singing of Back Home Again in Indiana before the race starts. Ah……memories.
