Who else has trouble finding a quick and healthy snack? We both have struggled over the years finding good-for-you snacks while working at home, the studio, or when we’re looking for something healthy to throw in our bag when running out the door for the day.

Snack Basket – Keep a nice basket in your pantry or on your countertop filled with healthy snack options for the whole family. We fill ours with Food to Live cashews, almonds and mixed nuts; bars like Balance and B.O.S.S. Raw Superfood; and a jar of Homeplate Peanut Butter. The key is to keep it stocked each week so that everyone at home can grab something to toss in their bag. We love to keep a basket next to this one full of clementines and apples.

Snack Prep – Every Sunday, we love to do some easy snack prepping. This has helped tremendously in our effort to grab healthy snacks, not sugary or carb-loaded treats when hunger strikes. All you have to do is grab veggies, like carrots, celery, sugar snap peas, cucumbers, peppers and radishes. Wash them well, cut them into snack-sized pieces and store in the fridge. We also love to toast nuts, put them in smaller glass jars, and pop them in the fridge by the precut veggies. It’s all about getting that pantry and fridge full of good snack choices!

Make your list – We are big fans of meal planning and have realized how great it is to include snacks on your planning list. Things like nuts, celery and peanut butter, avocado toast, hard-boiled eggs, and rice cakes with nut butter. Add those items to your list!
