Easy DIY Ornaments
Post by melissa fenlon

We can’t get enough of Easy DIY Ornaments. Each holiday season, we dream up new ways to create ornaments and this year, we created a handful of easy ornaments for our friends at Fun365 – and we used Mod Podge to create them all!

We made simple star ornaments, modern Mod Podge tissue paper ornaments and ornaments using some of our favorite holiday paper napkins! Head over to Fun365 for the full tutorial.

Get the kids holiday crafting

Ornament making is a staple in both of our homes during December. The girls all love creating ornaments to give as gifts to teachers, grandparents, etc. We even love to set up open creative time with ornament supplies – put out a tray with glitter, Mod Podge and wooden ornaments and let the kids’ imaginations take over!

Using Mod Podge to make ornaments

We love how the star ornament pictured above turned out. It was so simple, yet those little gold confetti stars give such a big impact, especially when they are on the Christmas tree. It’s so pretty to see the lights on the tree reflect off of those little stars.

Another favorite ornament we created for Fun365 using Mod Podge is this photo ornament, pictured below. Oriental Trading has the cutest wood ornaments, and it’s so easy to cut out a picture and adhere it onto a painted ornament using Mod Podge!
