DIY Gold Initial Pumpkin
Our mom has a thing for our last name initial (“R”). You will find numerous R’s throughout our parents’ house. Well, the whole last name initial must have stayed with us. Last year, Melissa made a string art initial pumpkin that was amazing. Today, I am sharing a new initial pumpkin – this time a modern and gold look. This year I went for hand written cursive vibe. I loved how it turned out! It is so simple and quick. I decorated the pumpkin in 5 minutes. Serious, 5 minutes. Just think of the possibilities of decorating with these pumpkins – use just an initial or spell out a name. Or even your house numbers. So many options!

Supplies: gold upholstery tacks | pumpkin
Step 1. Draw your initial lightly on the pumpkin. I used a washable marker. I decided to do a lower case cursive “a”.
Step 2. Push the tacks into the pumpkin to create the letter.
