DIY air dry clay jewelry bowls on aliceandlois.com

In the midst of planning and creating goals/project plans for 2015, it is best to take time and reflect all of the positive moments from the previous year. 2014 was a wonderful year for us here at the blog. We went from posting three days a week to five days! We starting working as contributors for minted’s amazing blog, Julep. We also starting working with Project Nursery as a DIY contributor. We partnered with some amazing brands to create original content; Jawbone UP24, Got Milk, Honest Company, Munchkin, and Old Navy. And Sara started working with Liz Stanley at Say Yes as her project assistant. So many things to celebrate from 2014!

It’s been a great exercise to look back at our projects from this past year and to see which posts were your favorites. Take a look at our top five post from 2014! We’ll be sharing five through ten tomorrow. Stay tuned!

3. DIY Shibori Indigo Pillows – We kicked off a whole Indigo Shibori Series last summer. And to say we fell in love with the shibori dying technique would be an understatement. There are so many ways to create unique patterns. And that blue… The pillows were lovely, and we made dishtowels and this one-of-a-kind scarf too.

5. DIY Iron-on Tote Bag – One of our favorite sayings, “Start each day with a grateful heart.” So happy that we could help spread this cheer with this printable to iron on.
