Blueberry picking in Michigan

We spent a cloudy morning picking blueberries near our parents’ home in Michigan this week. They are fortunate to live in the state’s blueberry belt. These berries are rich in antioxidants, a real super food. Our mom freezes them pounds at a time and incorporates them into her breakfast every day. Picking blueberries is perfect for kids. The small berries are easy to pick with little hands and just within their reach.
