You might remember our DIY Modern Birdhouses we made last month for the first post for Oriental Trading blogger series. Well, this month is all about buttons. We love a good backdrop for parties, so we decided to use the craft buttons for a kid’s birthday party decorations. We love ow colorful and fun the DIY Colorful Birthday Button Decor turned out. We made a photo backdrop using the buttons to make the number “6”. Add lots of colorful paper pinwheels around the number and you have a spectacular photo backdrop or party decor. Take pictures of the kids in front of the backdrop as a fun favor or to use in a thank you card. See the full tutorial on the Oriental Trading blog. And check out the DIY crepe paper surprise balls we made for the party.
Don’t forget to check out the other Craftabulous Supply of the Month posts using the craft buttons. It is so fun to see how a specific craft item can be used in so many different ways.
