We love cooking in the kitchen with our girls, especially when making healthy snacks. We shared one of our favorites on the Oriental Trading blog this week – Kid-Friendly Gluten Free Energy Bites Recipe. These no-bake energy bites are so easy to make and the kids love mixing them up too. It’s a simple combination of ingredients – gluten free oats, almond butter and vanilla. Then it’s time for fun with dried fruit, nuts and chocolate. We love to make a station on the countertop with all of the ingredients so the kiddos can do some stirring and rolling to create their own energy bites. We make a big batch of these, pop them in the fridge and then use them throughout the week as quick snacks.
