DIY State Art
Our latest Craftabulous Supply of the Month Challenge with Oriental Trading was mini white canvases. I mean, you could do a million things with blank canvases – paint, mod podge, gems, photo transfer…. the list goes on! We pitched a DIY State Art idea. These little canvases can showcase the states you are up in, went to college in, live in and more. We made a few canvases to represent where we were born, are up in and live now. A little bit of background on us – we were born in Georgia. Then moved to Indianapolis until the end of 6th grade. Then moved back to Atlanta for middle school and half of high school. Then as juniors in high school we moved back to Indy. We both went to college at Indiana University in Bloomington. Right after graduation, Sara moved to San Francisco and Melissa moved to Colorado.
Head over to the Oriental Trading blog for the full tutorial for our DIY State Art project. These make such sweet gifts. Mine are displayed in a row in my office and look darling! A sweet reminder of where you came from.
