DIY Halloween Doormat

Black bats are the quintessential Halloween symbol. So why not add a little black bat to a plain doormat?! We are sharing this super easy craft with your today with our DIY Halloween Doormat video tutorial. I love when a simple statement can add a nice big pop for a holiday decoration without being so over the top! The doormat looks great on my front porch along with some spider webs, big spiders, mums and pumpkins! And lots of Fall leaves. Ha!

I used a plain outdoor mat to freezer paper to stencil the bat with black paint. I just adore how the doormat turned out.
