You know we love any project that using natural wood blocks, right?! This DIY Wood Block Photo Holder is a favorite. It makes the perfect gift for Mother’s Day, a teacher or friend. We actually made these wood block photo holders for the craft activity at Harper’s birthday party last year. Only a few supplies and you are good to go. Get all the instructions below as well as the video tutorial (on Darby Smart app). These photo holders look darling as a single one or love to cluster a bunch of them as a centerpiece or on a side table. Showcase your favorite photos, cards or memorabilia on the clips.

Supplies

1 inch wood blocks

2 inch wood blocks

craft paint

tape

small clothespins

E6000 glue

Steps

Tape off a section of the front of wood block and paint. Let dry and remove tape.

  1. Use strong glue to adhere the clip to the top of the block.
  2. Note – when you “clip” the picture on, you actually slide the picture into the clip since you have glued both ends to the wood block.
